The project
Wiener Wind is the new concert band in town.
We are a modern amateur orchestra for ambitious musicians. We focus on popular, contemporary wind band music and creative concerts. We play songs of Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse or Comedian Harmonists as well as pieces of Philip Sparke, Johan de Meij, Otto M. Schwarz and many more.
Our mission:
We dream of a future in which every viennese citizen has at least once heard our urban concert band-sound - how we stage it in an innovative, contemporary and captivating way.
Modern pieces, creative interpretations and driven by an inexhaustible curiosity we develop with a good portion of joy, humor and viennese charm. For musicians, our audience and everybody who comes in touch with us.

An urban orchestra that breaks new ground and pushes boundaries.
We break conventions, open new soundscapes and always find new reasons to celebrate us and our music.
